2. Return & Refund Policy
At Planet Botanicals, we take pride in the quality of our handcrafted, natural skincare products. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read this policy carefully before completing your order.
2.1 Our Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind every product we make. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will work with you to make it right.
2.2 Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return or refund, the following conditions must be met:
• You must contact us within 30 days of the date your order was delivered
• Items must be in their original, unused condition and original packaging (except in cases of product defect or damage)
• Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) must be provided
The following items are not eligible for return:
• Opened or partially used products (unless defective or damaged upon arrival)
• Gift sets that have been opened or partially used
• Items purchased from third-party retailers (please contact the retailer directly)
• Sale or clearance items marked as final sale
2.3 Damaged or Defective Products
If your product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Please include:
• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Photos of the damaged or defective item and packaging
We will replace the item at no additional cost or issue a full refund, at your preference. You will not be required to return damaged or defective items.
2.4 How to Initiate a Return
To request a return or refund, please:
• Email us at info@planetbotanicals.com with your order number and reason for return
• Wait for a response with return authorization and instructions — do not ship items without prior authorization
• Once approved, ship your item to the address provided in our return authorization email
We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Planet Botanicals is not responsible for returned items lost in transit.
2.5 Shipping Costs for Returns
• If the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or wrong item), we will cover return shipping costs
• If you are returning an item for personal preference or other reasons, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
• Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
2.6 Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund (typically 3–10 business days).
2.7 Exchanges
We are happy to exchange products for a different size, scent, or item of equal value, subject to availability. Please contact us at info@planetbotanicals.com to arrange an exchange.
2.8 Purchases Made Through Retail Partners
Products purchased through our retail partners (L.L. Bean, Sea Bags, Vermont Country Store, Heritage Seaweed, and others) are subject to those retailers' return policies. Please contact the retailer directly for returns on purchases made in-store or through their websites.
